ESB Blocked
The Guidel ESB Fort Bloqué Surf School welcomes beginners and experienced surfers from Easter to All Saints’ Day for initiation, improvement or competition training sessions on Guidel’s spots: Maeva, Loch or Falaise. The team also supports experienced surfers in their search for performance. Classes are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the school’s opening season.
During school holidays, Different courses are offered, of all levels :some Intensive formulas With two sessions a day over a week to progress quickly, Classical weekly courses with a session of 1h30 per day, but also Courses of 4 days, 3 days and weekends to best fit your holiday planning.
To simply discover surfing in a friendly atmosphere, ESB offers discovery sessions of 1h30 each. For each course or lesson, the equipment is lent by the school, but you can also equip yourself in a Guidel Surf shop.
From March to December and outside July-August, ESB offers its ” club formula” for young people who wish to move towards competition and adults looking for improvement and autonomy. The ESB is located on the boulevard des Sables Blancs in Fort-Bloce, in the commune of Ploemeur.
WSA Guidel-Beaches
Guidel surf club and school, West Surf Association is one of the few clubs classified 3 stars by the French Surfing Federation. From April to November, the club welcomes the public for surfing, bodyboarding, paddle and skateboarding lessons and courses. Located at the nautical center of Guidel-Plage, the club has pleasant comfort facilities: showers, changing rooms, friendly club house. During school periods, the club’s weekly surf lessons concern adult and child development as well as competition training.
During the school holidays, the surf school offers many formulas to learn surfing from 5 years old or improve over several days. Among the courses offered are the intensive course of two courses per day over 5 days, the course with 3-hour courses and sessions filmed by the instructor, the mini-course of one session per day for a week, the Garden of Waves intended for the Discovery of the discipline for 5 to 8 year olds, or the Discovery sessions à la carte. Stand Up Paddle sessions are also offered.
Yousurf
Guidel surf school and surf shop located in Guidel-Plage even in the Belvedere gallery, YouSurf offers surf lessons during and outside school holidays, but also paddle trips and SUP Yoga sessions. Surf shop Guidel, YouSurf provides its students with a wide range of equipment. Travel to the spots of the coast is done by minibus.
Lessons and courses are offered to children from 5 years old for surfing and from 12 years old for paddle. Among the formulas offered to all audiences, there are packages of 8 to 10 sessions in spring and autumn, cards of 3, 5 or 10 sessions to spread over your holidays, or the unique discovery session.
The supervised group sessions last 1h30. YouSurf also offers an equipment rental service for independent surfers: longboards and shortboards, Stand Up Paddles soft or rigid, and neoprene wetsuits from 6 years old to XXL.
